A 29-YEAR-OLD man was detected by Kerang police on Tuesday night driving at 183 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.
The P-plate driver was detected by police driving along the Loddon Valley Highway at about 9pm.
The man has been fined $990 and had his vehicle impounded for three months.
The driver is also expected to be charged on summons with multiple offences.
“There are just some people who are never going to listen,” Kerang police First Constable Jeremy Dean said.
“Kerang police are committed to making country roads safer.”
