A WOMAN was injured after crashing her motorcycle into a guardrail on Friday.
The 44-year-old Castlemaine resident was travelling on the Pyrenees Highway at about 4.25pm when she lost control of the bike.
She hit the guardrail and received non-life threatening injuries.
Sergeant Peter Lukaitis said the woman was taken to Bendigo Hospital.
“She was going around a corner when she lost control of the motorbike,” he said.
“We don’t know what caused the crash.
“We just know that there were no other vehicles involved.”
Police and paramedics responded to the incident.
It is not known what type of motorbike the woman had been riding.
