BENDIGO Jockey Club has announced prizes for the Myer Fashion on the Fields at the Jayco Bendigo Cup.
The competition categories include Myer Lady of the Day, Myer Local Lady of the Day, Myer Man of the Day and the Myer Millinery Award.
Bendigo Jockey Club fashion co-ordinator Stacey Lonsdale said there would be about $15,000 in prizes across the four categories.
She said the organising committee hoped for a record number of entries at this year's Bendigo Cup.
"The Myer Local Lady of the Day is very popular and can be only entered by ladies with a 35 starting post code," she said.
"We also hope the men will turn out in their best outfits with some great prizes on offer in their category.
Ms Lonsdale said registrations could be made on race day, from 10.30am till 1pm and finals would follow.
Bendigo Jockey Club fashion fillies Amy Van Heuman and Selina Weragoda are the Fashion on the Field ambassadors.
They said they were thrilled to be part of the excitement surrounding racing fashions.
The Myer Fashion on the Fields will be hosted by Stacey Lonsdale and Olympian Scott McGrory.
A special Myer Fashion on the Fields ambassador will be announced in the coming weeks.
The cup is held on Wednesday October 30.
