AUSTRALIA'S defending WNBL champions, Bendigo Bank Spirit will play China’s national women’s team in an exhibition match at Bendigo Stadium on Friday night.
Spirit coach Bernie Harrower said it was the most high profile international basketball team the Spirit had played. China is the world’s eighth ranked women’s team.
“It’s the only opportunity to see the Spirit play before the season starts and it’s free entry for anyone who buys one of the fantastic Spirit membership packs.”
Friday night's half-time entertainment will feature the Bendigo Chinese Association's lion-dancing team.
Friday's match tips off at 7pm at Bendigo Stadium in Marong Road. Tickets are $18 adults, $10 children, $50 family.
