TWO male cyclists were taken to Bendigo Health after being involved in two separate incidents yesterday morning.
A male in his 20s was taken to hospital by ambulance with a knee injury after colliding with a car near Weeroona College at about 8.28am.
It was slow-going for cars on Midland Highway from about 8.30am yesterday morning while an ambulance and police attended to the crash.
In a separate incident, a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with an injured collarbone and abrasions on his hands and face after another collision with a car.
The incident happened in Townsend Street, Flora Hill at about 8.53am.
Bendigo police's Sergeant Mick McCrann said it acted as a reminder to driver's to take care and look out for their fellow road users.
"Check and check again," he said.
"It only takes a split second to make a mistake which can lead to injury."
