SPRING season fashion will be the topic on everyone lips at the Bendigo Renault Fashion Parade tonight.
Traders from downtown Bendigo and the Bendigo Marketplace will showcase a range of their latest season fashions, including Spring Racing styles right through to formal wear.
Parade co-ordinator Thomas Lavey said a lot of time and effort had gone into organising the parade.
"Basically it is designed to showcase not only traders but also local designers and their fashion.
"It will be a fabulous affair and is almost a sell-out show.
"There is the potential to offer more tickets and people need to look at our Facebook page on Thursday (today)."
Mr Lavey said there was big emphasis on Spring Racing fashion.
He said Pumpkin Patch would release its spring children's collection.
There will also be menswear.
"There will be a big focus on Spring Racing Carnival fashion and the latest season fashion, there will also be children's clothes," he said.
"It will be a good show.
"There will be goodie bags choc-full of great things and lucky door prizes."
Mr Lavey said it was the first time Bendigo Marketplace and street traders had collaborated for the parade.
"I think it is great that the show is a collaboration between street traders and the marketplace.
"Retail needs to band together especially through the current climate.
"It is great what is happening and it will be fabulous."
The Bendigo Renault Fashion Parade kicks off at 6.30pm at the Bendigo Town Hall.
