The Marong couple were killed when their all terrain vehicle rolled at their rural property on Walsh-Arnold Road in Culgoa.
Police were at the scene of the incident on Monday and said they had been killed between 1pm Sunday and 12.30pm Monday.
Their vehicle rolled several times, police said.
Mr Walsh’s mother Maureen Walsh-Martin said the family had been left devastated by the loss.
“We’re just absolutely shattered,” she said
“We cannot believe it.The only thing that’s giving us any comfort is that they went together.”
Ms Walsh-Martin said the couple had married more than ten years ago after meeting at a wedding.
“I’ve spoken to Bridget’s family, her dad and brother,” she said.
“They’re like us; they cannot believe that such a beautiful pair has gone."
Mr Walsh, who ran a photography studio in Victoria Lane off Pall Mall, grew up on the Culgoa farm.
He lost his father at a young age and is survived by two sisters and a brother and Ms Walsh (nee Rooney) came from a family of nine in Gippsland.
Her family was travelling to Ms Walsh-Martin’s home in Lockwood Monday.
Elders Real Estate Bendigo principal Martin Skahill said their passing was a tragedy.
Long time friend and Bendigo Advertiser photographer Andy Banks was left gutted.
“Sean would go out of his way to make people happy,” he said.
“They were good people, honest and caring and looked up to by the community."
