V/Line trains to and from Melbourne and Bendigo look to be running on time this morning.
On Sunday, Victorian detectives arrested nine players and the coach of Melbourne’s east soccer club the Southern Stars.
It is alleged that players manipulated the outcome of their games in Australia’s second-tier soccer league.
The incident has been dubbed the biggest match-fixing operation in Australian history.
Revenue from speeding fines increases
According to justice department data, the Victorian government has raked in $293 million from speeding tickets in 2012 and 2013.
Despite the number of infringements given to motorists is at a four-year low, the size of the penalties has increased.
