WEDDERBURN has earned the chance to play for its third North Central Football League premiership in a row.
The Redbacks crushed St Arnaud by 89 points in Saturday's preliminary final at Boort, winning 23.16 (154) to 9.11 (65).
Full-forward Sam Barnes was again the star for the Redbacks. He booted 10 goals and has now kicked 33 in his past three games.
Brady Herdman (five goals), half-back Rohan McHugh and VFL-listed midfielder Riley McIvor were other standouts for the Redbacks.
“It certainly wasn’t a walk in the park like the scoreline might indicate,” Wedderburn coach Daniel Gash said.
“For the first three quarters, it was definitely game on.”
Wedderburn takes on Charlton in this Saturday's grand final at Donald.
