A CROWD of about 120 people turned out to renowned designer Linda Jackson's fashion show on Saturday night.
The Bendigo Art Gallery played host to the extravaganza, with students from CV Dance Studio modelling the oriental-inspired garments.
The fashion was brightly-coloured, with intricate detail and the performers glided down the runway with elegant movements.
Bendigo Art Gallery senior curator Leanne Fitzgibbon said she was pleased with the turnout for the show.
"It is fantastic to be connected with a renowned designer," she said.
"We have showed work by Linda Jackson during our White Wedding Dress exhibition."
Ms Fitzgibbon said the gallery made an effort to host local community events.
"This weekend we have had the fashion performance and we also have had the Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music," she said.
The fashion show was part of the launch of Bendigo Renault Fashion Week, which runs from September 14 to 20.
