The Grasshoppers prevailed 15.11 (101) to 10.9 (69).
Navarre won the game on the back of strong second and fourth quarters, kicking six goals in both terms.
The game was up for grabs at three quarter-time when the Swans cut what had been a 23-point half-time deficit to nine points at the last change.

They were among Lexton’s better players, along with James Templeton, Lachlan Pryor and Jordan Phelan.
