BENDIGO Bank employees donned their footy best yesterday, joining thousands of people across Australia in the fight against cancer.
The bank has been involved in Footy Colours Day for six years, raising more than $37,000 for the Fight Cancer Foundation during that time.
AFL clubs were largely represented on the day, but one proud rugby league fan sported a Melbourne Storm jersey.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank area manager David Tudor said the event created a sense of community around the workplace. “Footy Colours Day is a fun way each one of 6500 team members can show their support for a cause that matters,” Mr Tudor said.
