A BENDIGO mother charged with the manslaughter of her baby daughter will face a two-day committal hearing in December.
Jayde Poole, 28, appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates Court for a brief committal mention on Wednesday morning.
A hearing was set down for December 16-17, with 10 witnesses expected to give evidence.
Homicide Squad Detectives charged Ms Poole in July with manslaughter and conduct endangering life.
The court heard Poole had unknowingly left her daughter in the backseat of her car on December 11 last year.
The baby was retrieved two and a half hours later but was in a critical condition, and later died.
The December hearing in the Bendigo Magistrates Court will determine whether the case will go to trial in the Supreme Court.
