3rd – EAGLEHAWK (40 points, 125.4%) – can finish as high as second if the Hawks defeat South Bendigo and lift their percentage of 125.4 above Golden Square’s 130.3. Can finish as low as sixth if beaten by South Bendigo, and Sandhurst and Gisborne both win, plus the Hawks’ percentage drops below Gisborne’s, which is currently 115.0.
4th – SOUTH BENDIGO (38 points, 107.6%) – will finish third if the Bloods defeat Eaglehawk. Can drop to sixth if beaten and Sandhurst and Gisborne both win.
5th – SANDHURST (36 points, 151.3%) – can’t finish any higher than fourth, but the Dragons can miss the finals if it they lose to Maryborough, plus Gisborne wins.
6th – GISBORNE (36 points, 115.0%) – must beat Castlemaine to be any chance of making the finals. The Bulldogs can get to as high as fourth with a win and losses to South Bendigo and Sandhurst. There’s also the chance of leapfrogging Eaglehawk if the Bulldogs win and the Hawks lose by big enough margins to bridge the percentage gap.
