BENDIGO’S cold snap is forecast to continue for the next three days.
But warmer days are ahead, with Bendigo set to hit a comparatively toasty 15 or 16 degrees in time for the weekend.
Yesterday’s top of 10.4 degrees was one of Bendigo’s coldest days of the year.
The wind chill made it feel like five degrees.
Duty forecaster Matt Michael said persistent cold south-westerly winds were bringing cold air over the Great Australian Bight and into Victoria.
He said relief was in sight, with the weather warming over the weekend. Monday is set to be a comparatively balmy 17 degrees.
