Golden Square 18.19 (127) d Maryborough 10.7 (67). The Magpies shot out of the blocks to lead by 29 points at the first break. However, the last three quarters were all one-way traffic as the Bulldogs piled on 17 goals to four. Josh Filo and James Bristow five goals each for Golden Square.
South Bendigo 12.11 (83) d Castlemaine 11.6 (72). The Bloods set their win up with a strong first half when they led 9.3 to 3.5 at the main break. The Magpies outscored the Bloods eight goals to three after half-time. Justin Maddern five goals for South Bendigo. Rhys Ford six goals for Castlemaine.

The Scorpions slammed on 15.8 to 0.4 after half-time. The Gold's score of 20 was the equal fourth-lowest in Bendigo's VFL history.
Western Jets 16.20 (116) d Bendigo Pioneers 6.6 (42). Dominant performance by the Jets in their 74-point win. Jacob Chisari the best for the Pioneers, who didn't score in the first quarter.
Huntly 15.19 (109) d White Hills 9.11 (65). Hawks got off to a flyer to lead by 32 points at quarter-time. Chris Gleeson five goals for the Hawks, Matt Sawyer four for the Demons. The Hawks will take a five-game winning streak into the finals.
Heathcote 15.23 (113) d Mount Pleasant 7.6 (48). Saints confirm their finals berth with a 65-point win over their arch-rivals. The Saints kicked eight goals to one after half-time. The day included a melee during the warm-up.
Colbinabbin 17.12 (114) d North Bendigo 10.18 (78). Grasshoppers win by 36 points, but miss the finals on percentage. Bulldogs will go into the finals on the back of five losses in a row.
Leitchville-Gunbower 26.15 (171) d Elmore 10.5 (65). Bombers on their way to their first HDFL finals series after finishing on bottom of ladder last year. They had 13 goalkickers in their 106-point win over Elmore, which has claimed its first wooden spoon since 2001.
Qualifying final - Bridgewater 8.10 (67) d Pyramid Hill 9.8 (62). Mean Machine win a thriller by five points that went into extra time after scores had been level 60 apiece. The Bulldogs fought back from 18 points down at half-time to send the game into extra time. Alexander Collins kicked three goals for the Mean Machine, including the match-winner, and how has 96 for the season. Bridgewater meets BL-Serpentine in next week's second semi-final. Pyramid Hill will play the winner of tomorrow's elimination final between Newbridge and Marong.
