POLICE are investigating a suspicious house fire in Strathdale early
this morning.
Police and Country Fire Authority investigators were at the scene at Sibley Place, off Crook Street in Strathdale, inspecting the scene.
CFA Senior Station officer Tim Fitzgerald said the CFA were called to the fire at 3.13am.
He said the house was unoccupied and was contained to the front of the house.
"There was smoke damage to the rest of the house," Mr Fitzgerald said.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said if anyone had any information regarding the fire to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
