Recent 22.00 Warrnambool winner Blue Rookie is ideally drawn in box seven and with a record of seven wins from 11 race starts he is the obvious danger.
The second of the Vantaarling charges contesting heats this afternoon is Twilight Vixen who has drawn box seven in the 11th race.
Twilight Vixen has missed the start at her past two outings, but before that impressed with a 22.03 victory at Ballarat’s track on February 13.
All three of Twilight Vixen’s victories have come from the outside three boxes and the wide draw today looks ideal.
Speedy types Cheeky Cheeks and Sin Cara have trong credentials and pose the most serious threats to Twilight Vixen.
