POLICE are calling for witnesses after an alleged hit-and-run in Epsom on Tuesday evening.
Police say a ute towing a trailer collided with an 18-year-old cyclist near Howard and Napier streets about 6.40pm.
It is believed the driver of the ute stopped briefly and the cyclist got up and moved to the footpath.
Police say the driver of the utility then returned to his car and drove off.
The cyclist was taken to Bendigo Hospital for observation.
Police want the driver to hand himself in as he is required by law to report the collision and give his details to any other party injured.
Anyone with information should contact the Bendigo highway patrol on 5448 1360.
