The winner shared the jackpot of more than $4.2 million with two others after buying a ticket from Strath Lotteries.
Owner Peter Minehan said the person knew of their big win but had not collected their winnings yet.
“They haven’t collected it but they have been identified as a regular customer and a local from the area," he said.
“Everyone here is quite excited about it.”
The retiree said he was shocked at the win and would use the money to help his family.
“I was sitting down reading the paper and flipped over to check the TattsLotto results. I knew the moment I saw them that those were my numbers," he said.
"I recognised them because I’ve been playing the same ones for 40 years.
“I’ll help my children and grandchildren with some of the money, and also invest some for the future. We’ll all celebrate the news together soon too.”
The winning numbers in Saturday's TattsLotto draw were 34, 16, 18, 1, 17 and 6 with the supplementary numbers 33 and 13.
