V/LINE passengers involved in a crash at Lake Charm are “well on their way” to Melbourne, according to a V/Line spokesman.
The spokesman said the 40 passengers had been taken from the train, which hit the rear trailer of a truck, at about 2.20pm.
A spokesperson from Ambulance Victoria said nobody had been taken to hospital.
The passengers are travelling by bus to Melbourne after being stuck on the train for about 50 minutes.
Buses are expected to replace train services between Bendigo and Swan Hill until midday tomorrow, the spokesman said.
