POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated burglary in Strathdale on Wednesday night.
Detective Senior Constable Len Ladner from Bendigo’s criminal investigation unit said unknown offenders broke into a house in Strathdale Cresent about 10.30pm.
“They’ve forced their way into a house and damaged property inside while the occupant was present,” Detective Senior Constable Ladner said.
“He wasn’t harmed or threatened.
“Nothing was stolen, there was just damaged caused... At this stage it’s unclear how many offenders there were so we’re calling on the public for information. So if anyone has any information, has seen or heard anything at the time, they should get in touch.”
