It is the first tour of the music festival’s five legs to sell out.
Bendigo resident Joe Hartney was lucky enough to nab the last four physical tickets from the Bendigo Advertiser yesterday.
“I was going to come in later in the day but it was very fortunate I came in earlier. My mates owe me big time,” he said.
City of Greater Bendigo city futures director Stan Liacos said Bendigo greatly benefitted from the music festival.
“This event attracts a considerable audience of visitors and... generates substantial economic benefit for the Bendigo region,” he said.
Tickets went on sale on Wednesday after a presale through the Moshtix website last week.
About 300 tickets were available from the Bendigo Advertiser yesterday morning, but they sold out very quickly.
