Pedestrian hit by a car
AN 86-year-old woman was hit by a car and taken to hospital with minor facial injuries in Heathcote this morning.
The car had been reversing out of a park in High Street when it hit the woman, who then fell onto the ground and hit her face just after 9am.
An Ambulance spokesman said the woman was treated for suspected spinal injuries but said she was in a stable condition and was taken to Heathcote Hospital.
Police said the car was slow-moving and was an unfortunate accident.
