A 41-year-old man has died after crashing his car into a tree along Bendigo-Murchison road, Rushworth about 8.50am Saturday.

Echuca, Shepparton and Kyabram police attended the scene of the crash, along with SES and CFA crews.
Roads were temporarily blocked at the scene, near the intersection of Old Leads Road.
An Ambulance spokesman said the man died instantly in the crash.
He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Acting Sergeant John Atley, of Echuca Police, said the cause of the crash was still being investigated.
"We're unsure at this stage what factors have led to the crash," he said.
"The man was driving along a bend and failed to take the turn, before he left the road and struck the tree."
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
