Ms Nicolson will have her head shaved on Saturday, March 16, at the Bridge Hotel in support of the Leukaemia Foundation and its annual World’s Greatest Shave.
Ms Nicolson, who has been growing her hair for seven years, said she was excited to be a part of the fund-raising event.
“I’ve always wanted to do it but my hair was too short,” she said.
Ms Nicolson is hoping to raise $5000 by organising her own raffle and competitions at work, and through the support of attendees on the night of the shave.
She has received lots of support from family and friends and has already raised $700.
Monetary donations can be made via Ms Nicolson’s Leukaemia Foundation profile at www.leukaemiafound
