The trio were all born on Saturday morning at Bendigo hospital.
Lilly Alice Nixon was the first to arrive at 1.42am and is the first child for Hope Golding and Phillip Nixon of Metcalfe.
Hunter Steven Alwyn Charles Lane was the next to arrive at 6.58am. He is the second child for Sandi Thompson and Joshua Lane of Heathcote and a brother for Isaac, 2.
Alysha Iris Dowie was welcomed to the world at 11.57am and is the first child for Shanelle Hicks and Mick Dowie of Strathdale.
Lilly and Hunter were both due on Australia Day so their parents knew to hold off on any big celebrations.
“I went into labour on the 25th but it was a long one and eventually I had to have a caeserean because she was so big,” Ms Golding said of Lilly’s arrival.
“Usually we have a a big barbecue at our place for Australia Day so that’s what she’ll be doing next year, celebrating her first birthday too.”
Recognising tradition and history was an important part of Hunter’s birth. His three middle names recognise his grandfather and two great-grandfathers.
