While I agree that something must be done about illegal rubbish dumping particularly in our state forests we have to look at the motivation which is the exorbitant charges to dispose of this rubbish at the local landfill.

Many times I have heard residents complain that they just cannot afford these tip fees especially pensioners and all other people on fixed or low incomes.
It’s alright for people who have a good income where $25 for a trailer full doesn’t seem excessive but for those people I mentioned it is not affordable so do something about those fees or we are going to have to put up with our forests becoming more and more polluted.
