The company bought 180 puddings and biscuits this year to give to their clients and staff as Christmas gifts. Rotary presented Bendigo Bearings with a plaque to thank them for their continued support, which began when Bill Gray and former Rotary president Graham Nielson owned the business.
Current owners Trevor Nancarrow and Bill Robertson have continued the yearly tradition since taking over 12 years ago.
Bendigo-Strathdale Rotarian Graeme Chellew said he did not know where Rotary’s pudding sale would be without the support of Bendigo Bearings.
“They’ve certainly been our best clients,” he said. Bendigo Bearings owners Bill Robertson and Trevor Nancarrow said their staff and clients always enjoyed their Christmas gifts.
“Our workers certainly appreciate them,” Mr Robertson said.
“We’ve been doing it for a long time and we will no doubt continue to.”
