A BURST water main spouted water up to 20 metres high in Neale Street today.
The pipe was ruptured during drilling works by a gas contractor and filled nearby drains with water for about 30 minutes.
The water line was turned off which cut supplies to local houses.
Two young sisters Abbyleena and Isabella Mooney-Brownlie made the most of the rare event by cooling off from the heat in the flowing water as others took photos.
