I read with interest and mirth the article on Page 3 of Thursday’s Addy, “Car park leaves couple confused”.

Back in October I parked there for the first and last time.
I got in all right but could not find a way of getting down to the ground floor.
After walking around and around I eventually found a lift.
There were NO signs to point me in the right direction.
Getting my car out was another matter. I spent ages trying to figure out how to use the machine. When I pushed the help button (on more than one occasion), no help was forthcoming.
Eventually someone came into the lobby area and I asked them how to use the machine.
Locating my car was easy; trying to follow the signs that say way out was another matter. Once again I had to ask someone as I was driving around.
When I rang the council about my concerns regarding the lack of signs they took my phone number.
A couple of days later the person in charge of the car park rang me back and said that there had been no other people with problems.
The other thing that really got up my nose was that if you are a minute or two over the 90-minute free parking, you get charged for a full hour.
The computer does not recognise 15 minutes/30 minutes etc., only one-hour increments.
