Prue Day of Flora Hill had a New Year’s Eve celebration she won’t soon forget, giving birth to daughter Elizabeth at 12.32am.
“It’s a great start to the year,” she said.
“I’m sure there are plenty of adventures in store for us this year.”
Sharni Marshall of Bendigo gave birth to Jacobie Lee Britton about three hours later, followed by Kym Gahan, who gave birth to daughter Eliza at 5.08am.
“It doesn’t feel like the new year yet,” Ms Gahan said.
“I missed the new year because we were in hospital.
“But I certainly won’t forget 2013 any time soon.”
