Yvonne George, Catherine Brennan, Raelene Schmidt, Cherryl Fyffe, Ellen Lee Osterfield and Sharon Donaldson have been displaying their one of a kind art pieces at the exhibition titled 6 Artists.
The artists create their unique pieces at the pottery and will continue to display their work in the new year. Mrs Brennan who has been creatively working at the pottery for the past two years said the purpose of the exhibition was to get the artists working on new pieces.
She said her collection included sculptures, paintings, photography and accessories.
Mrs Brennan said she has always had an interest in art and after her children had grown up she decided to pursue her passion.
“Years ago I studied oils,” she said. “Then I went to TAFE and I didn’t start until I was 51 years old.
“The teachers at the TAFE are brilliant, I had only experienced oils before so it was really due to the teachers at TAFE, the expanded the way I thought and then I adapted that into the way I do my art.”
