BENDIGO accounting firm Richmond Sinnott and Delahunty are an “obvious” target of legal action over the Banskia collapse, according to liquidator Tony McGrath.
Mr McGrath said there was an issue with the audit of Banksia which was completed less than four weeks before the company collapsed.
When asked who might be pursued over the collapse, which has affected about 15,000 investors, Mr McGrath said there were questions surrounding the audit.
“There is an obvious issue around the role played by the auditor,” he said.
Comment is being sought from RSD.
