Performers have been busy rehearsing ahead of the performance on December 11 and 13.
Academy principal and teacher Alise Cumming said her students were getting excited to finally take to the stage.
She said the academy had lower primary, upper primary and youth theatre classes, with all levels performing in the production.
Miss Cumming said they would be performing for the first time at Bendigo’s Old Fire Station in View Street.
“We have such a collection of kids who just want to be stars and they have that talent that I wanted to bring up the professionalism, and they have absolutely loved it,” she said.
“For most of these kids it is there first time at the fire station and the looks on their faces was just inspiring.”
Miss Cumming said the lower primary class had been working on the performance number for the past eight weeks.
She said term four was the only term where they did a production and in other terms it was all about building confidence and learning how to tell a story.
“This year level does find it hard to focus on one project for too long but through lots of different games and giving them characters, they really got into it,” Miss Cumming said.
The production is for family and friends only.
