Three people were arrested yesterday by detectives from Casey Crime Investigation Unit after they identified a number of similarities in the fires.
Shaun Boxell, 18, of Mornington and John Bellette, 21, of Cranbourne have both been charged with nine counts of arson and were remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court this morning.
A Narre Warren South man, 21, was also charged with four counts of arson and bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates' Court.
