A man has died in hospital following a crash in Lancefield on Monday.
Investigators believe the car was travelling south on Lancefield-Tooborac Road when it left the road and hit a tree about 7.15pm.
The 18-year-old Lancefield man, who was the sole occupant, was taken to The Alfred hospital with serious injuries. He died on Tuesday afternoon.
Police will prepare report for the Coroner.
