Numbers don’t add up in political plan

Numbers don’t add up in political plan

IT IS very disappointing that the member for Bendigo West is making incorrect statements about her plan to spend millions of dollars on a beach at Crusoe Reservoir to the detriment of other more important community-identified needs.

The claims in the Bendigo Advertiser that the majority of people support her do not stack up against the Advertiser poll.

While not a scientific poll, it is a barometer to the views of the community and it certainly does not show majority support.

For Ms Edwards to say otherwise is indicating a state of permanent ignorance or demonstrating an inability to interpret simple data.

Even more disappointing is that Ms Edwards is trying to interfere in local government.

As has been previously suggested, Ms Edwards could better use her time to support the Bendigo communities.

FRANK JONES,

Bendig
