Nolan Street tram stop better placed elsewhere

29 Aug, 2010 11:14 PM
IS there anyone who thinks the position of the tram stop for visiting tourists in Nolan Street is a good idea, considering the traffic flow this road carries and danger to motorists due to the position of the stop?

Surely the tram stop doesn’t meet VicRoads standards for road design and safety requirements.

Is it not obvious to the council that around the corner in Bridge Street would be a far safer option?

Tom the instigators of this ridiculous concept may have thought it was a good idea and or simply not thought it through. Or perhaps they had an alternative subversively vexatious agenda with deliberate sabotage in mind. If these evildoers have the cojones to step forth and explain their rationale we would all be enlightened.
