Contrary to Fr McGrath’s beliefs, civilisations end or adapt due to changing economies, changing religious beliefs, war, new trade routes, climate change and so forth, not because of wicked feminists’ philosophy, or the secular concept of removing God from government and legal systems.

It is not wicked feminists that cause grief, it is the male of the species that declares war, it is the male who abuses his wife and children, it is the male and his need for greed that brings our economies to the point of collapse, it is the male that instigated the blood-letting of the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, and the murder of thousands of women as witches at the stake.

Also, what nonsense is the simplistic concept that secularism is an evil force solely based on greed and lust?

Secularism is the rational and intellectual idea that governments, our legal systems and all human groups can coexist in communities not dominated by religious dogma.

The opposite of secularism is of course theocracy.

In a pure theocracy the human leader claims to have a direct personal relationship with the will of God.

It’s a very loose term that has no real meaning, and is often abused by those seeking political dominance, as can be seen in some Islamic states and in some Western political systems.

It is the religious fundamentalists who, with God’s will, seem to dominate certain lands, such as Israel, Islamic states and the religious right in America, and create much misery, bitterness and hatred.

Indeed, the love of God as taught by Jesus is easily overlooked and ignored by unbalanced male fundamentalist leaders in their lust for political or religious dominance.

Many millions of believers of all faiths use their respect for one another to support those in need and reach out in love to those less fortunate.

Many Christians, who love God, are a blessing to our society; indeed, the foundations of our civil secular society are based on the love of God and his message of love and forgiveness, and hence people of all faiths are welcome to this land.

Screaming feminists and secularists do not end or corrupt civil society.

Give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.
