Katter’s reply reveals attitude to wildlife

31 Aug, 2010 11:05 PM
A special edition of the ABC’s 7.30 Report saw Kerry O’Brien ask Queensland independent Bob Katter what issues were on his mind.

His reply was startling: “There’s a freedom issue here, you can’t shoot or fish anywhere and the terrible problem with the deadly flying foxes, they are going to kill more people than the taipan snake do here in Australia, you can’t even boil a billy where you want.”

It’s not Katter’s politics we should be concerned about.

It would appear that Bob Katter is living in the past, things change Bob and so must we. It could be a very intertesting time in the Canberra and we might just live to regret it.
