Do our roads lead to Damascus moments?

Do our roads lead to Damascus moments?

17 Mar, 2010 04:00 AM
IMAGINE my surprise and delight when I heard Marg Allen, director of organisation support, state that an additional $1 million was required for building maintenance.

Have the City of Greater Bendigo management had a “road to Damascus” moment?

Have they seen the true light, as distinct from the sound and light show of recent priorities for new capital works?

And, talking of roads, will this new wisdom extend to the largest single asset under council control - the local road system, a system in serious decline?
