Pro Tour green light
12 Aug 10 | TENNIS Australia has confirmed it wants Bendigo to host the final Pro Tour tournament of the season following the success of last year’s William Loud Tennis International held in Bendigo last November.
Garwood aces rivals in La Trobe gold rush
08 Jul 10 | La TROBE University student and the Bendigo Tennis Association’s number one player Curt Garwood struck gold in yesterday’s men’s singles final at the Southern University Games. Garwood, who did not drop a match at the tournament on the Bendigo Bank complex hardcourts in Nolan Street, took on La Trobe Bundoora student Adrian Cosetti in the final and won 8-1.
Teens rally during hectic workouts
30 Jun 10 | A SQUAD of 21 youngsters from the Bendigo Tennis Academy will be on court at the Gold Coast-based Pat Cash International Tennis Academy next week. The four-day camp will involve plenty of volleys, smashes and lobs. It’s the third time the BTA has headed to the Gold Coast.
