The Bendigo Viper has spent the entire championship campaign anchored in the Melbourne Victory defence during the inaugural season of Australia’s elite women’s soccer competition, but it was the side’s forwards who couldn’t muster a last round win to secure a finals berth.

29/11/2008 | THE Loddon Mallee Football Club’s under-17 girls’ team will be aiming for consecutive victories when it takes on North Western Zone in tomorrow’s Football Federation Victoria summer league clash. Players from as far afield as Shepparton, Echuca and Bendigo will join forces for Loddon Mallee in the matches on the synthetic pitches at Darebin. Tomorrow’s play will complete a hat-trick of away matches in the metropolitan area.
12/11/2008 | THE Loddon Mallee teams will head to Melbourne for this weekend’s clashes with Central Metro in the Football Federation Victoria’s summer league. In the latest round, Loddon Mallee endured some highs and lows in Sunday’s contests with Wimmera South Coast in Mildura. There were seven matches played throughout the day as LM competed in Sunraysia for the first time.
