Dual Bendigo Advertiser-WIN Television Sports Star of the Year winner Hannah Every-Hall is on track to achieve her 2012 London Olympics dream.
Every-Hall has been selected to row for Australia in the upcoming World Championships in Bled, Slovenia, held from August 28 to September 4.
Every-Hall will compete in the lightweight double-sculls with Victoria’s Alice McNamara, who with Every-Hall took out last year’s World Cup event in Lucerne, Switzerland.
The pair finished in fourth place in last year’s World Championships in New Zealand and will be looking to reach a podium finish in 2011.
The pair will also get the chance to defence their World Cup title in Switzerland. They are set to compete in Lucerne from July 8 to 10.
Every-Hall and McNamara will also row for Australia in the Henley Royal Regatta in England in late June.
Every-Hall started off the 2011 rowing season in style with a win in the lightweight single sculls at the Australian National Championships in Adelaide last month.
The 32-year-old, who is now based in Queensland, juggles her rowing career with looking after her two sons, Harrison and Charlie.
Every-Hall won her first Bendigo Advertiser-WIN Television Sports Star of the Year award in 2002-03 before winning the 2010-11 award for her performance in Switzerland last year.
