The Eaglehawk Cricket Club, one of the oldest sporting clubs in Bendigo, will release a book titled "Eaglehawk Cricket Club 150 not out".
The 210-page book has been researched for more than five years by former premiership player Darren Rodda.
The book contains the history of the club including photos of all 46 of the club's premiership teams.
The book also includes records of all senior players that played for the club since joining the Bendigo District Cricket Association in 1907.
Eaglehawk Cricket Club is a power of the BDCA.
The late Herb Turner is the only Eaglehawk player to have played state cricket.
The Hawks have had a number of cricketers go on to play in the VFL/AFL - Norm Busbridge (Essendon), Eddie Esposito (Melbourne), George McWilliam (Fitzroy), Fred Swift, Bill Evely (Richmond), Peter Lyon (Hawthorn), Fred Jinks, Dennis Strauch, Herb Turner, Rod Ashman, Frank Dean, Damien Lock (Carlton), Bruce Peake, Hugh Routley, Max Hetherington, Peter Pianto (Geelong).
The book will be launched by Bendigo Bank managing director Rob Hunt at Canterbury Park on July 14.
The 150th celebrations will continue with a gala night at the All Seasons Resort on October 7.
