THE Sandhurst Football Netball Club has strengthened its coaching department regaining the services of former players Jannaya Webb and Kris Greene for the 2010 netball season.
The Dragons’ A Grade and A Reserve teams will be jointly coached by Melissa Ryan and Jannaya Webb.
Ryan will commence her sixth year as coach at the club, achieving premiership success in 2008 with the 17-and-under and this season with A Reserve.
Webb first joined Sandhurst in 1998 and is a well-respected premiership player and coach in all senior grades.
After winning the 2009 premiership, Tracey Strachan will again lead the B Grade team. Strachan’s coaching experience is impressive, having been involved at both junior and senior level.
Beagley, premiership player and coach, will once again oversee the development of the younger brigade and will do so with Kris Greene, also a premiership player and coach. Greene, who is returning to the Dragons after a two-year break, is a two-time Betty Thompson medallist.
Sandhurst will hold selection trials for its 17-and-under squad on Monday, December 7, and Tuesday, December 8, at 7pm at the QEO court.
