In a summer capped by the club winning back-to-back first XI premierships, Taylor’s play with bat and ball was superb.
He racked up 1061 points and earned the Tony Bourke Memorial first XI champion trophy.
Taylor marked his return to the Suns by winning the Bendigo District Cricket Association’s Cricketer of the Year award.
The Linton Jacobs-led first XI again defeated Bendigo United in the grand final and became the first team in the club’s history to win consecutive first XI premierships.
The award-winning run for Cameron Taylor included the first XI bowling, a century, and five-wicket hauls on three occasions.
A great summer for the Bell Oval-based Suns included the Travis Ledwidge-led third XI winning the premiership.
