Matches in rounds three, five, and then 9 to 11 were all one-day contests.

Aiming for consecutive first XI premierships, Golden Square clinched the one-day title in last Saturday’s three-run win against Sandhurst on the QEO.

Last summer’s winners of the first battle for the Keck-Findlay Shield, Strathdale-Maristians was also unbeaten in the one-day clashes.

The Suns were beaten by Golden Square in last year’s grand final.
