The Roos looked on target halfway through its innings to chase down Eaglehawk’s challenging 3-148.
Openers Andrew Hosking and Tyson Belz laid the perfect platform for the Roos with an 83-run opening stand inside the first 11 overs.

22/11/2008 | HEATHCOTE opening bowler Justin Hancock has the opportunity today to complete a remarkable cricketing feat - capturing all 10 wickets in an innings.
Hancock claimed all eight West Bendigo wickets to fall last Saturday, on day one of the Redbacks’ Emu Valley Cricket Association division one clash against Heathcote at Ken Wust Oval.
And with the Redbacks to bat on today, there is the prospect Hancock could finish the innings with a rare 10-wicket haul.

Irwin and Skeen both struck centuries in the same innings as White Hills reached 288 in the under-15A clash with Huntly-North Bendigo.

Johns died on Sunday after a short illness aged 65.
“He was a great ambassador for Bendigo cricket,’’ BDCA president Wayne Walsh said of Johns yesterday.

Burns takes over as skipper from Bendigo United’s Heath Behrens who had five years as captain, which included the drought-breaking Melbourne Country Week premiership in 2007.
Behrens stepped down from the job to concentrate on his batting.

22/10/2008 | A HAT-TRICK for the first time in his career capped an amazing spell for Sandhurst’s Andrew Sheehan in Saturday’s start to the Bendigo District Cricket Association’s first XI clash with Eaglehawk.
Sheehan’s 20th over at Weeroona Oval was marked by dismissals on the first three deliveries.
The 35-year-old then trapped another batsman leg before on the fifth delivery as the Hawks went from 6-226 to all out 226.
